Germany's Splash Festival is one of Europe's largest hip-hop, R&B and reggae events, and one of the few in Germany that focuses on urban musical spheres. Drawing 25,000 attendees for three days of fresh beats every July, Splash is held at the famous Ferropolis on the outskirts of Berlin, an open-air museum that contains machines from the mid-twentieth century and one of the coolest festival locations anywhere in the world. Located in Gräfenhainichen, the venue is about an hour-and-a-half drive south of Berlin, and usually sells out weeks in advance, so get your tickets early.
Past Splash! Festival performers include Redman, Snoop Dogg, The Roots, Nas, Wiz Khalifa, and De La Soul. If you like your Dance, HipHop and R&B, then Splash is your go-to German festival this year!
